Roundabout is a monthly magazine covering “news, views and information” about people and events in the villages of Brenchley and Matfield. It was started in 1975 by David Bowerman and has enjoyed an unbroken print history produced by a succession of dedicated volunteers. The current team took over at the beginning of 2005 and now comprises six volunteers who handle all aspects of the magazine bar the printing.
A further dedicated band of volunteers distribute the magazine to nearly 600 households in the two villages on the first Sunday of the month whilst copies are also sold through the local post offices and shops.
Subscriptions
The subscription year begins in February and the cost for twelve months is £8 with a reduced rate of £6 for Over 60’s. Postal subscriptions are also available at £14 for the year (overseas rates dependent on destination).
Advertising
The magazine carries advertising in colour or black and white in sizes from 1/8th to a full page.
