Following the resignatin of Martin Powell, Brenchley Parish Council has now appointed a new Parish Clerk.

St Luke's Church in Matfield publishes a periodic newsletter which is designed to keep local residents in touch with what is happening at the church and in the community. The March 2017 issue has now been published.

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is preparing a new Local Plan for the next twenty years, which will guide development througout the borough. The Council has recently published locations that have been submitted in response its recent Call for Sites, which encouraged individuals and organisations to put land forward for potential development.

A new national power cut phone line – 105 – has been launched to help people contact the electricity company in the event of a power cut.

The weekend amenity vehicle currently visits Brenchley and Matfield each Sunday to allow people to dispose of rubbish which is not taken by the normal refuse collection. There will be changes in this service from the beginning of August.
